Heroes are special units that can be controlled by the player (commander), they can be upgraded by Xp (awarded by the end of levels) to become powerful and stronger and use unique special abilities which makes them unique from other units.
Note: Heroes's Abilities were upgraded with coins when they were unlocked in specific Xp levels before 2014's Update
